NFL Draft Day 2 Recap: Four more Dawgs go Pro

Friday’s NFL Draft picks are now locked in, largely free of the drama of day one. That said, there were still interesting picks, with interesting fits for our favorite Dawgs.

The first Dawg of the day to be picked was Ja’Lynn Polk, going fifth in the second round and 37th overall. This move, pairing him up with North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, is aimed at bolstering the Patriots’ receiving corps, with their leading receiver having 561 yards total, and their pass offense ranking 28th in the league last year. Polk brings an added element of verticality, totaling 69 catches for 1159 yards and 9 touchdowns last season.
