Kevin Weekes first broke the news last night - The Carolina Hurricanes and coach Rod Brind’Amour came to terms on a new deal.
It has been further reported this morning that it is a five year deal and that his assistant coaches were also retained.
I have been waiting for something official from the Hurricanes but have yet to see anything. But NHL.Network also posted it this morning, so I assume it is true.
